Up for sale is a copy of the 1:20 Cheung Ronin variant cover of New Avengers #4 autographed by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist David Finch and graded 9.8 (NM/MT) by CGC under its Signature Series label. Retailers received one copy of this cover for every 20 copies of the regular cover ordered. This issue contains the first appearance of Maria Hill. The CGC case is in great shape with no cracks. For those of you unfamiliar with Signature Series, the Signature Series label takes the place of a certificate of authenticity, and with it you know that a certified CGC witness saw the comic being autographed by the person indicated, and immediately afterwards took the comic into his possession so that there is no doubt the autograph is authentic. In the case of multiple autographs signed at different times, a CGC witness will only release the signed comic at the time it is to be autographed by another person, and then takes it right back.
